Adrian Patterson

Author and badge collector

Adrian Patterson is the custodian of the Autobadge Collection and an avid collector of Australian and New Zealand automobile club badges and paraphernalia. He has written over 10 books on the subject of motoring association badges and history. Adrian lives in Cooloola Cove, Queensland, Australia.

Adrian’s interest in badges started in the late 1970s when he operated a service station and NRMA agency north of Sydney. The collection has grown from a small display of club badges from different Australian Clubs to what is generally regarded as the most extensive collection of Australian Motoring Association badges in existence.

Other publications are planned that will cover the badges of Queensland and Australian motor sporting badges.
