However, the NRMA decided to use their budget to celebrate 90 years with a special dinner inviting 90 members and their guests.\u00a0 I guess full tummies are better than helping to preserve and share a company\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>With the NRMA not interested in the completed project the idea of full publication was abandoned until John Fennell\u2019s insistence fired up my enthusiasm and I decided to rewrite and expand the manuscript to include all motoring Associations of NSW.<\/p>\n<p>The Royal Automobile Club of Australia was extremely helpful when it came time to research their archives and a large quantity of valuable material was found. \u00a0It was decided at this point to dedicate the book to the Badges of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia.
