The publication includes the original publication, Badges of the NRMA – a history of the NRMA emblem since 1920, rewritten to include cataloguing numbers and expanded to be of greater interest to collectors. The original NRMA book was aimed at NRMA members as a history of the emblem and not as a collectable guide.
All obsolete associations badges are listed including some previously unknown and also many new unpublished facts uncovered from intensive research. The focus is on the Royal Automobile Club of Australia badges, this was the original Automobile Club in Australia whose members help start the NRA, later to become the NRMA.
