This book was written to coincide with the 115th anniversary of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia which now also incorporates the Imperial Services Club. The RACA was the first automobile club started in Australia and this publication follows it history from inception to the present day.
During research for this book the original minute books of the club were discovered and revealed some amazing facts … the first president was not really the first he was in fact the second and the founder of the club who’s portrait adorns the entrance was not really the founder of the club … although he claimed credit as he was the only survivor in later years.
Many images never published before were found and are included in this 160 page hardcover
